Anthropic is pulling ahead in enterprise AI, Meta launches a superintelligence initiative, and Apple ramps up its AI investments.

The Biggest Career Problem

Hey, Aidan here again.

Welcome back everyone. I’m excited to get straight into it today, so let’s do exactly that with something I’ve been thinking about lately:

The most common problem I see across all types of job seekers?

They don’t know how to communicate their value.

It doesn’t matter if you’re fresh out of school or 15 years deep into your career, most people default to describing what they do, not what they bring. That’s fine for small talk.

But in a market where attention spans are short and competition is high, it’s not enough to say “I managed projects” or “I worked on the marketing team.” You need to articulate why that matters, who it helped, and what outcomes it brought.

Here’s an easy fix I use inside AIApply that you can try today:

Take one bullet point on your resume and run it through this formula:

“I did [X], which led to [Y], so that [Z].”

Example:

“I managed a product launch” becomes →

“I managed a product launch (X), which led to a 23% increase in user retention (Y), so that the company could reduce churn and improve LTV (Z).”

It takes two extra minutes, but it completely changes how people perceive your impact.

Alright, short and sweet, but more than effective. Let’s get into the AI news. Big things from Apple, Meta, and Anthropic this week.

This Week in AI:

No jargon, no filler—just the biggest AI developments worth knowing right now. Perfect for quick industry insights, so you can skip the buzzwords and get straight to the good stuff. Let’s dive into this week’s AI shake-ups, just as promised:

Anthropic’s Claude models are now reportedly the top pick for enterprise users, beating out even OpenAI’s GPT-4. Meta just dropped a sweeping new agenda for building artificial superintelligence, yes, they’re using that word, and Apple, which has stayed mostly quiet on AI, is finally ramping up its investments.

Let’s get into it.

In This Issue:

  • Enterprises Prefer Claude Over GPT-4 → Anthropic is now leading in trust and usability for big customers. (link)

  • Meta Launches Superintelligence Research → Zuckerberg’s team says it’s aiming “squarely” at AGI. (link)

  • Apple to Ramp Up AI Investment → Tim Cook confirms major new moves in AI R&D. (link)

TL;DR:

A new TechCrunch report reveals that enterprise clients are increasingly choosing Claude Anthropic’s flagship model over OpenAI’s offerings. The reason? Better alignment, stronger controls, and a more “trustworthy” product experience, especially for Fortune 500-scale use cases.

Our Take:

This is the first real sign that OpenAI may not be the de facto enterprise LLM provider forever. If you’re building B2B AI products or integrations, pay attention: enterprises are now evaluating safety, explainability, and uptime over raw model power. Claude is winning because it plays well with big companies, and that’s a powerful wedge.

TL;DR:

Meta just launched a new site and manifesto outlining its long-term goal of building artificial superintelligence. It plans to invest heavily in compute, open science, and foundational safety work all while aiming to keep its research open and accessible.

Our Take:

Meta’s using “superintelligence” the same way OpenAI used “AGI” as a North Star for attracting top-tier talent and setting vision. The difference? Meta’s trying to position itself as the open alternative. For the AI-curious and career-minded, it’s worth watching: Meta is going to be hiring aggressively in this space.

TL;DR:

In a recent earnings call, Tim Cook confirmed Apple is “significantly increasing” its AI investment, following rumors of a large-scale training effort and internal model development. While details remain sparse, Cook emphasized integrating AI across Apple’s product ecosystem.

Our Take:

Apple ships. And when Cook says they’re going big on AI, it means it’s already in motion. Unlike its competitors, Apple’s about silent, tight integration into things you use every day. Developers, founders, and enterprise buyers should be paying attention: Apple may quietly define the next user expectations for AI.
